Education has as much to do with knowledge and experience as it does with motivating students to learn. Extending a student’s capacity for knowledge and developing their potential is largely influenced by the ways in which we teach our children to grow and understand new ideas, reach new challenges and learn new concepts. Education for me therefore, is learning by doing, and learning by wanting to do better.

For those who know me, you will know that my professional career has largely been in the field of international education. Internationalism is at the very heart of what drives me. The international school movement educates students who often come from various experiences in school systems the world over. Where many national schools may be more international in their student body, international schools link a common philosophy of education with academic rigour which will set new standards for our future generations.
