The body scan is an ancient and time honoured practice that has been adopted and promoted by secular mindfulness practitioners most notably Jon Kabat Zinn, the founder of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. (MBSR)
This is an experiential workshop in which the leader will guide participants to complete a mindful body scan that emphasises self-compassion and gratitude as they lie on their backs. 
Participants will be provided with links to well known body scan practices that they can explore after the workshop.
Programme - Body Scan (35 mins), Reflection and Discussion (10 mins)
